Protoline lets you build and deploy application changes through self-hosted runners. A runner connects a pre-provisioned host or target environment to the Protoline control plane.

Install a runner
Use this guide when you want Protoline to run builds or deployments on your own Linux host:
The app generates the one-time enrollment token. The docs explain the host requirements, what the installer changes, how to verify the service, and how to upgrade the runner later.
MCP clients
Use this guide when you want to operate Protoline from an MCP client such as Claude Code or Codex:
MCP access uses a personal access token and the same project permissions as the web app. It can inspect project state and operate change-request workflows without giving the client direct shell or filesystem access.
